Shipping Info

We ship live crickets via Express Post every Monday and Tuesday. Orders placed before 8AM Tuesday are shipped the same week. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.

Warranty

We overpack each order by 20% to account for natural losses.

If more than 20% of your crickets arrive dead and it’s not due to weather or negligence (e.g. not collected promptly), we’ll refund the difference.

Please send a clear photo/video of the issue on the day of delivery to be eligible.

We do not ship to WA, NT, TAS, or ACT due to biosecurity and temperature risks.

How are the crickets packed and shipped?

Crickets are packed in ventilated boxes with enough food to survive transit. We overpack every order by 20% to compensate for natural loss.

Can I order crickets for my pet bird, frog, or turtle?

Absolutely. Our live crickets are suitable for:
– Reptiles (dragons, geckos, monitors)
– Amphibians (frogs, axolotls)
– Fish (especially large cichlids)
– Birds (insectivores like finches)

How can I track my order?

You’ll receive an email with a tracking number once your order is shipped. If you didn’t receive one, please check your spam folder or email us directly.

When do you ship orders?

We ship every Monday and Tuesday. To make the cutoff, place your order by 8AM Tuesday. You’ll receive an email with tracking once your order is packed and dispatched.

What if my crickets arrive dead?

If more than 20% of your crickets are dead on arrival, and the issue wasn’t caused by temperature extremes or delays in pickup, you may be eligible for a refund.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Orders over $200 AUD receive free shipping.
Otherwise, shipping rates are:
Small crickets: $20
Medium & Large crickets: $25

Can I return live crickets?

Due to the nature of live insects, we do not accept returns. If there’s a problem, contact us by email with supporting photos/video on the day of delivery.

How do I store live crickets after delivery?

Once your crickets arrive, keep them in a well-ventilated container with egg cartons or cardboard for hiding space.
Place them in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight, ideally between 22–26°C. Feed them fresh vegetables like carrots or leafy greens, and keep the container clean and dry to prevent mould or odour.
